Winger Adds NCAA Provisional Qualifying Time in 1,500

Bearcats Host Willamette Last Chance, Await National Selections

SALEM, ORE. -- Jena Winger (Jr., Bonney Lake, WA/Sumner HS) of Willamette University, who won three events at the Northwest Conference Championships earlier this season, has now earned NCAA Division III provisional qualifying times in three events, after recording a time of 4:38.63 in the 1,500-meter run at the Willamette Last Chance on Thursday, May 15. Winger took second in the event behind Kelly Fullerton of Team XO (4:36.44), but completed the race under the provisional standard of 4:40.00.
